Brad and John Lyon grew up in Nebraska, where their passion for storytelling flourished at an early age. Adventures at the river near their home, on their grandparents’ farm, at their family’s rustic cabin in Minnesota, and on fishing trips to the Canadian wilderness sparked their love of exploration and discovery. Those cherished childhood activities, combined with the movies, cartoons, games, and toys of their generation, inspired countless hours of make-believe that would eventually evolve into the creation of their own worlds filled with heroes, villains, aliens, robots, and monsters. Time passed, and while the trials and tribulations of adulthood sometimes slowed their creative engines, the brothers never stopped dreaming and developing their stories. Finally, after many years in the making, Brad and John are thrilled to share their first novel, Keeper of the Gremkat Key, the premier book in their Legend of Gallivett series. They only hope you have as much fun reading this book as they did writing it.

Let your imagination run wild, be silly, play make-believe, and keep chasing your dreams.

Brad Lyon is a middle-grade fantasy author who has always dreamed of sharing his overactive imagination with the world. He was heavily inspired by books, cartoons, movies, and Role-Playing Games (RPGs) of the 1970s and 1980s. His first published novel, Keeper of the Gremkat Key, cowritten with his brother, John Lyon, is but one of the many stories he hopes to share. One of the best rewards he can imagine would be inspiring others to create and tell fantastical stories of their own.

John Lyon is an overgrown child. At least, that’s what his kids call him. He is also a middle-grade fantasy adventure author, cowriting with his brother, Brad Lyon. John’s inspirations are drawn from growing up in the Midwest during the 1970s and 1980s, where he had endless adventures with his brother and other neighborhood kids.
